The Sony warranty "PCGEVPW2" covers you for the same as our UCover Warranty. The VGPEVPPSL3 is for Sony laptops with Win7P would give on site cover unlike the UCover which is collect and return.

looking at the rear of the unit in question (searched on google) you may only get 3.1 channel sound and not the full 5.1 channel. HDMI is still the best source to use though. Try using a cheap cable first of all before using more expensive cables.

It will not write Blu-rays and the only way to add a TV tuner is by adding a USB device. Type "tv tuner" into search to find.

It will play Blu-rays but not write them. Will play and burn normal cds and DVDs too
