Our A2 Certificate of Competency course is a one-day course which allows commercial operations to be undertaken within certain parameters using specific types of drones. Depending on the type of drone you operate (generally the weight of the drone but other factors also apply) you are able to operate over uninvolved persons and/or within 30m horizontally of them (5m in low speed mode).
The A2 CofC certificate allows you to legally:
Fly C2 class drones within 50m of uninvolved people
Fly C2 drones within 5m of people in slow mode (>5mph)
C2-rated drones must weigh less than 4kg, be built to minimise injury and have the option of a low speed mode, where the drone is able to be operated at speeds up to 6.7mph.
