Hi Garrett,Yes, you can connect the LG 32U889SA-W to Wi-Fi and download apps like NOW TV directly onto the monitor using LG’s built-in webOS system, so you don’t need a phone to install or watch them, although casting from a phone is still an option. It is also a touchscreen, so you can tap and swipe through apps like a large tablet, but it doesn’t behave exactly like an iPad since some functions may still work best with a remote or mouse.Thanks!
