GRADE A1 - "As New"

Take your digital life to a whole new dimension with the Aspire 5535 featuring a brand-new 15.6" Acer CrystalBrite™ LCD, which sports a 16:9 aspect ratio for displaying movies in true cinema-like form just like its older more expensive brother the 6930.

Built as a home entertainment system with power, the 5535 features a Dual Core AMD processor and 3GB RAM (something unheard of at this price).

A huge 250GB hard drive is more than enough room to store anything you need and a DVD writer is on hand for all CD/DVD burning possibilities. And you'll love the amazing audiovisual effects of ATI high-definition graphics complemented by Acer 3DSonic stereo speakers.

Whether for use on-the-go or as your home multimedia centerpiece, this notebook is excellent.

Please note: this laptop comes with a 1 year warranty held with Laptops Direct

Question from manda: Asked on 20/12/2010 Hi, can I take it for granted that this has a modem and how much would a window 7 upgrade cost please.

Answer from simon: Answered on 20/12/2010
It has wireless and ethernet but no dial up 56k modem.

The upgrade to Windows 7 would be £82.97.

Question from Gilboboy: Asked on 22/11/2009 Will the PC game Portal by Valve Corporation work on this laptop.

Answer from SteveK: Answered on 23/11/2009
No idea it sold out over the weekend. Not surprising at that price.

Question from coco_2k9: Asked on 01/11/2009 hi, I was wondering is dis laptop an actual full-sized laptop or is it just a mini laptop netbook kind of thing?

Answer from SteveK: Answered on 02/11/2009
This was a full size laptop rather than a notebook. As a guide Laptops have optical drives (DVD/CD) netbooks have none. Just as a rule of thumb to help you in your search.

Question from R P Herbert: Asked on 04/09/2009 Hi, can just XP be loaded onto this laptop, instead of Vista ?

Sorry, that model has now sold out. Please call our sales team for an alternative.

Question from J.Collins: Asked on 28/06/2009 Hi, Does it have a seperate graphics card or is it intergrated?

Answer from SteveF: Answered on 29/06/2009
Its integrated, anything around that price range doesn't have a dedicated card, they tend to add quite a bit to the price.
