Question from AndyS: Asked on 19/08/2010 I've got a Toshiba laptop just now, but looking for a 'docking station' where this seems to offer what I'm looking for, however I've a few questions:
a) It mentions that there's one USB connection and assume that this is for the connection of peripherals only, unlike an actual docking station which supplies the power as well?
b) what is the purpose of the replicator i.e. what would it be replicating?
c) If I should change my laptop possibly within the next year, would this product be fully compatable with non toshiba laptops?
d) Are there any similar products offering an element of harddrive or is it better to have these as standalone peripherals connected through this device?
Type "USB docking station" into the search to find similar products.
