Hi, The Synology DS925+ uses standard 3.5” SATA hard drives and is compatible with Seagate IronWolf and IronWolf Pro NAS drives. These drives can be installed and used for storage pools and RAID configurations as they follow the standard SATA NAS drive format supported by the system. Depending on Synology’s current drive compatibility list and DSM version, the system may display a compatibility warning if the specific model is not officially validated, but the drives are still generally operational for normal NAS use.
