Choose from adjustable models with tilt, swivel and rotation, plus options for larger displays up to 49 inches and 20kg. Selected designs also include cable management, RGB lighting or a separate PC mount. With clamp and grommet fittings available, it’s easy to find a setup that suits work, gaming or a home office.
A single monitor arm lets you change the height, distance and angle of your display without moving the whole desk. That can help you reclaim space taken up by a standard monitor base. Before buying, check the screen weight without its stand and the arm’s stated load range. You’ll also need to match the VESA fitting on the back of the screen. 75 x 75mm and 100 x 100mm are common patterns, but compatibility varies by monitor.
A single monitor arm desk mount normally uses a clamp or grommet fitting. A clamp can be useful when you don’t want to drill into the desk, but the desktop still needs to fall within the supported thickness range. Check underneath for drawers, frames and cable trays that may block the fitting. Thin, hollow or glass desktops may also need extra care because the clamp puts pressure on a small area.
A single-arm monitor mount should be chosen by weight as well as screen size. Larger or ultrawide displays can put more strain on the arm, especially when they’re extended forward.
A single arm monitor stand with some spare weight capacity may also give you more choice if you replace the screen later. Leave enough room behind the desk for the arm to fold back, particularly if your workspace sits close to a wall.
