If you want a laptop that you can easily take anywhere, or just a second laptop for when the kids are hogging the family PC, the Acer Aspire One D150 is worthy of serious consideration.
Weighing in at only 1.33kg and with a 10.1" CrystalBrite screen with 1024x600 resolution this portable Netbook is sure to make you wonder how you ever managed to lug a standard laptop around.
The powerful Intel Atom N280 Processor gives you fantastic performance in an incredibly small package and is designed specifically for incredibly low power consumptions so the D150 can run for up to 8 hours without charge. And the1GB RAM installed works in conjunction with the Atom processor so the Acer One run smoothly.

Question from Steve: Asked on 10/09/2009 Last question on the battery, and this could be the clincher! Is the 6 cell battery white in colour to match the netbook itself?
Question from Steve: Asked on 06/09/2009 I'm stuck between the 3 cell or 6 cell version of the D150. The obvious choice is the 6 cell, but is it true that it 'sticks out' at the back of the netbook whereas it doesn't on the 3 cell version. I'm not really concerned about the extra weight but does the bigger battery spoil its looks? I haven't seen a photo of the 6 cell version.
