My husband would use it for lisening to the radio and for editing photos eg using adobe photoshop 5. my main concern is battery life as I have a sony vio which only give 20 mins of battery life and has always done so . I need about min of 1 hour to do online research which laptop do you suggest under 450 pounds if possible with vista premium.

Answer from Easycom: Answered on 15/08/2007
From the information you have given I would suggest looking for a Core Duo or a Core 2 Duo processor with 1GB of RAM which will be fine for everything you want to do. If you are looking for a long battery life I would suggest avoiding the 17 inch screen models as the larger screens are very power intensive.
