Home broadband does not come with any guaranteed upstream speed, however any of the upto 8MB offerings should be fine.

No, you can plug your aerial directly into the SlingBox, so you TV does not need to be left on. However if you were suing the SlingBox with Sky TV you would have to watch the same channel on your sling box and the TV.

The Sling Box will let you watch your sky box at a similar standard to a youtube video. As for watching TV while at work, that depends on your IT admin!!
