The laptop has a wireless card already installed, all you need is a wireless router on your home network.

Not really, you just need a laptop with a better spec, most importantly a dedicated graphics card.

Yes, you need FSP:GB3C00000GBNBL - This covers all faults (including battery) - It does not cover accidental damage.

It wouldnt be able to play things like call of duty etc, but should be fine for web and flash based games. Upgrading to 2GB of RAM can only help. It doesnt have a full version of Office but sometimes they have a trial version pre-loaded. The full version would have to be added separately.

Hi, this machine does not have dual, core, that's just one of the reasons why it's so cheap! It depends what you want it to do, you wouldnt be able to play most games on it.

This laptop does not have a dial-up modem integrated. Ideally you should buy a laptop with an integrated 56k modem such as the Dell Inspiron 6400. Alternatively you can buy an external USB 56K modem.

The Orange LiveBox is a modem in itself - This laptop has a network socket to connect to your LiveBox via a wire, it also has integrated wireless - which means if your LiveBox supports wireless networking, then you will be able to connect this laptop to it without a wire.

I believe you hold down the Function key and press F1 to turn the wireless on, and do it again to turn it off. The function key should say 'Func' or 'Fn' on it.

You would be able to use the wifi in the hotel without needing anything else. It should be very straightforward to get connected.
