Question from Marlboroman: Asked on 05/07/2007 Has this product got the ability for upgrading components at a later stage eg - ram, gcard? Plus repeat question but would it be able to ply ANY games at all? My friend has a laptop HP and he is able to run FSX on low settings with an intel family gcard.

The memory on the laptop can be easily upgrade if required. As this notebook features a Intel GMA card it offers limited gaming performance but it would be ok for use with online games and older, basic games.

Question from Oliver: Asked on 11/04/2007 I have read on an other site this this comes with FAT32 file systerm,
Can you confirm this as it's a bit odd not to be NTFS

Answer from Easycom: Answered on 11/04/2007
For some unknown reason Acer choose to ship some of their laptops with a FAT32 partition by default. Thankfully, it only takes a few minutes to convert it to NTFS if you need to. This can be done at any time and does not require anything to be backed up, so it is not a problem.

Question from Richard: Asked on 08/04/2007 I hate pre-installed PC's and would rather configure it myself to this end can you supply me a copy of Win Vista to go with a new Acer Aspire 5101AWLMi so that i can configure the Hard Drive installation & Partitions myself rather than just restore the system to how you have configured it - or is it possibe to create a vista installation (dvd) from the restore partition, before i format it, also as i would have altered the Software spec, I of course would not expect software support however would this affect my guarantee ??

Cheers

Answer from Easycom: Answered on 11/04/2007
Unfortunately we are not able to supply the notebook without the operating system pre-installed. Likewise the restore disk will return it to the manufactures installed condition. However there are a number of programs available which can resize partitions if you need to.
