Drone Controllers

Drone controllers give you clear flight data, responsive controls and a direct view of your camera feed while you fly. Our DJI range includes the RC Plus for compatible Matrice aircraft and the RC Pro Enterprise for selected enterprise models. Built-in screens also mean there’s no need to attach a separate phone or tablet, making setup simpler when you’re ready to get airborne.

Keep a clear view with drone controllers built for the field

A bright screen makes flight data easier to read outdoors. The DJI RC Plus has a 7-inch display with brightness up to 1,200 cd/m² and a 1920 × 1200 resolution. It’s also rated IP54 for resistance to dust and water spray, with an operating range from -20°C to 50°C. That makes it well suited to outdoor jobs where conditions can change quickly.

Match the remote to your DJI aircraft

Not all drone remote controllers work with every DJI model. The RC Plus supports compatible Matrice 30 Series, Matrice 300 RTK and Matrice 350 RTK aircraft. DJI states that the correct firmware must be installed before switching between supported models.

The RC Pro Enterprise is used with aircraft such as the Mavic 3 Enterprise Series. Check your exact aircraft before ordering, as a similar-looking controller may use different software or transmission hardware.

Stay powered through longer flying sessions

For anyone comparing drone radios, battery life is worth checking alongside screen size and compatibility. The RC Plus runs for about 3 hours 18 minutes on its internal battery.

Add a compatible WB37 external battery and this can rise to as much as six hours. It also supports battery hot-swapping, so a charged external battery can be changed during longer jobs without shutting the unit down.

Frequently Asked Questions

No. DJI controllers can look very similar but still support different aircraft. Check both the controller name and your exact drone model before buying. Firmware can matter too. If you need other compatible items at the same time, browse our drone parts and accessories.
Yes, compatible versions of the RC Plus can work with all three. DJI says you may need to update the controller firmware, choose the correct aircraft in DJI Pilot 2 and link the controller again when changing models.
Some enterprise setups support two operators, but not all of them do. The Matrice 350 RTK with RC Plus supports Dual Operator Mode, which can help when one person handles the aircraft and another focuses on the payload. The Mavic 3 Enterprise Series doesn't support dual controls, so check the aircraft as well as the remote.
The internal battery can provide around 3 hours 18 minutes of use. With a WB37 external battery fitted, DJI states a maximum operating time of up to six hours. Actual use can vary with screen brightness, temperature and other settings. If you're also preparing for a longer day of flying, browse our compatible drone batteries.
You don't need a separate CAA registration simply for owning the remote. The rules apply to the aircraft and how you fly it. Current UK rules require a Flyer ID for drones weighing 100g or more, while an Operator ID is required for a drone weighing 100g or more with a camera. Check the latest rules for your aircraft before flying. If you're choosing a complete setup, browse our drones.
