Norton Win Your Laptop Competition Terms and Conditions

1. These terms and conditions apply to the Win Your Laptop competition via LaptopsDirect.co.uk in partnership with Norton.
2. This Promotion offers entrants the chance to win a refund to the value of their purchased laptop. UK residents only.
3. Conditions of entry – to participate in this promotion you must satisfy the following:

   1. You must be aged 18 or over
   2. You must be resident in United Kingdom
   3. Only one entry per person; bulk entries made by third parties are not permitted;
   4. You are not permitted to enter if you are an employee of Buy It Direct or their direct family member or agent, or if you are otherwise associated with the promotion;
   5. You must agree to and comply with these terms and conditions; if you do not agree and/or comply you will not be eligible to participate and will be disqualified.
4. Due to the nature of the competition, items from the winning order cannot be returned or exchanged.
5. The winner(s) agree(s) to the use of their name, location and will co-operate with any other reasonable requests by Buy It Direct relating to any post-winning publicity, including posting a photo of the product in use, or creating a written or video review without additional remuneration.
6. No responsibility can be accepted for entries lost, delayed or corrupted, or due to computer, network or software failure which may restrict or delay entry.
7. The Promoter may refuse or disqualify any entry (including winning entries) if the entrant concerned or anyone authorised by the entrant to deal with their entry, acts in a way towards the Promoter which the Promoter reasonably considers to be inappropriate, unlawful or offensive. If the winning entry is disqualified the Promoter reserves the right to award the prize to another entrant.
8. Entrants will be deemed to have accepted these terms and conditions and agreed to be bound by them when entering this competition.
9. By entering this competition, you declare that Buy It Direct has permission to send marketing emails related to our products and services. Your details will be the property of Laptops Direct and it’s sister companies and will not be passed on to any 3rd parties. 
10. How to enter - to enter this Promotion you will need to make a purchase via laptopsdirect.co.uk containing both a Laptop and Norton Anti-Virus Software between Tuesday 9^th December at 00:01 and Friday 31^st December at 23:59.
11. Entry period – Purchases made between Tuesday 9^th December at 00:01 and Friday 31^st December at 23:59 will automatically be entered into the promotion. No minimum spend necessary. Purchases will not be eligible after the Closing Date.
12. Winner Selection - all eligible entrants’ order numbers will be placed in a draw and one winner will be selected at random after the Closing Date. Our decision as to the winner is final and no correspondence relating to the promotion will be entered.
13. Prize - there will be one winner and the prize for the winner will be as follows:The retail value of the Laptop at the time of purchase issued as a refund to their original payment method after receipt of the order up to a maximum value of £1,000. The Prize is not transferable or exchangeable unless otherwise agreed in writing by us and The Prize must be taken as stated and cannot be deferred. We reserve the right to substitute the Prize with one of the same or greater value.
14. Winner notification – we will contact the winner via the email address stated on their order on or before 30^th January 2022. The winner will be asked to confirm their full name, age, postal address, email address and telephone number to claim the Prize and provide proof of identity where necessary. We reserve the right to disqualify you from the Promotion if you are unable to provide such details. The Prize must be claimed within 14 days of the date of our notification to you. If the Prize is unclaimed after this time we reserve the right to offer the Prize to another winner selected in accordance with these terms. If for any reason the winner chooses not to take up the Prize or any part of the Prize, we reserve the right to ask the winner to confirm this in writing and we will be able to retain or dispose of the Prize (or part of the Prize) at our own discretion.
15. Disqualification - We reserve the right to refuse to award the Prize or disqualify an entrant where there are reasonable grounds to believe there has been a breach of these terms and conditions or otherwise where an entrant has gained unfair advantage in participating in this promotion or won using fraudulent means. Late or incomplete entries which do not satisfy these terms and conditions will be disqualified and not be entered into the Promotion.
16. Changes to the promotion - We reserve the right to cancel or amend the Promotion at any stage where we deem it necessary and/or there are circumstances outside our reasonable control which affects or could affect the proper operation of this promotion, and only where circumstances make this unavoidable, but will always endeavour to minimize the effect to entrants in order to avoid undue disappointment.
17. Facebook - this Promotion is in no way sponsored, endorsed, administered by, or associated with Facebook. By entering this prize draw you agree to release Facebook of any liability caused in respect of this Promotion.
18. Liability: To the fullest extent permitted by law we exclude any and all liability for any loss, damage or injury occurring to you or any third party arising from your entry into the promotion or arising from your acceptance and use of the Prize.
19. Law: These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales.
