The standard Asus warranty does not offer accidental damage cover though you can added this using the Compu Cover insurance. Unfortunately we do not offer student discount as we prefer to offer the lowest price possible to all our customers.

The laptop comes with a battery (around 3 hours), power supply and UK warranty.

There are a number of significant differences between the two models, including the CPU, graphics card and memory quantity. If your looking for a gaming notebook then the A8Sc notebook would be the best choice as it has a Nvidia 8400M graphics card otherwise the A8Jr will offer a slightly longer battery life and faster office task performance due to the additional memory.

This model does not come Bluetooth but does come with 2GB of RAM making it the fastest notebook of the two. But if you need Bluetooth then the other model would be the most appropriate.
