The e-reader is firmly secured in a shockproof hard shell. The front protects the screen. In this way, the shell cover reliably protects the back as well as the side edges and the screen of the e-reader. Integrated magnets prevent the protective cover from opening accidentally. The protective cover supports the sleep cover function of the PocketBook devices mentioned and thus helps to conserve battery charge. When the protective cover is closed, the device is automatically put into sleep mode. When the cover is opened again, the e-reader is immediately activated.
