Fast and easy to use
Easy to set up and use, the DS-80W is compact. Its size and design takes up less space in an office and allows for it to be transported when you need to travel but take the office with you. The scanner can also be used without a power source, ensuring that it is easier to use while not in familiar workspaces. When fully charged, you can scan up to 300 pages at a rate of four seconds per page.
The scanner can handle a wide range of documents and media types. Paper scanned can be up to 270gsm. Long documents are also not a problem with the scanner accepting paper up to 180cms long.
When you’ve got a large scanning job to do, the automatic feed mode allows you to speed up the process. There’s also no warm-up time thanks to the CIS sensor.
Files can be delivered as the usual PDFs, JPEG, TIFF and others.
Intelligent systems
The scanner can automatically detect whether it is required to send documents via its USB or wireless mode. It also includes intelligent OCR and document capture software so you can scan documents and edit the copy later. The documents produced can also be searchable PDFs and numerous third-party applications can be integrated thanks to the TWAIN drivers.
