Next-Gen DirectCU H2O is a hybrid thermal solution that combines a vapor chamber and water channel. Compared to the previous-gen design, the DirectCU H2O's in-channel water-flow rate has been increased by 22% for better heat dissipation. The new ROG Poseidon is constructed with a larger 2.5-slot cooler, providing 40% more surface area for thermal dissipation compared to previous 2-slot designs, leading to lower temperatures and quieter performance.
