HP warranties are internal and the Ucover warranties are UK mainland and Northern Ireland only.

What it mean when it says that this laptop has Video Intel HD Graphics, up to 1696 MB total available graphics memory. What does 1696mb mean and how is graphics defined i.e. what graphics are used.. pictures video memory/storage??

It has shared graphics so shares memory with the RAM the laptop has to display graphics. In this case it's 1696MB or 1.7 GB. Basically it will be suitable for Internet and Office use as well as playing movies and MP3s. But 3D games that are anymore advanced than Football Manager or Sims, but will run all Java or Flash games.

The HP warranty on the essential extra's tab gives a 3 year on site cover. Where as the other warranty is collect & return.

"XF104EA" is HP part code, BXF104EAFW seems to be a internal part code on HPs web site only. This model will have light scribe.
