The latest SATA HDD series, MQ01ABB200, provides a huge capacity of 2TB in a 15.0-millimeter-high design with 4 platters. The advanced MQ01ABB200 targets capacity-hungry applications markets like external HDDs. A quick spin up of the spindle motor in 3 seconds and an average access time of 12 msec makes the drive a fast solution. In addition, the drives also feature very good power efficiency value of 0.000350 W/Gbyte. An enhanced shock detection against operating shock up to 2,940 m/s 2 guarantees proven reliability. As with all Toshiba HDDs, the complete series is halogen-free and RoHS compatible, therefore, exceptionally environmentally friendly.
