HDR gets the most from your viewing
This Sharp 40” TV is compatible with HDR10 and HLG for the best colour realism possible. As well as extending the range of colours, HDR also delivers brighter whites and darker blacks, helping to give this TV stunning levels of contrast. HDR10 and HLG formats are both covered. HDR10 is widely used on UHD gaming consoles from Sony and Microsoft. HLG (Hybrid Log Gamma HDR) is a broadcast and user generated standard format that is set to become the standard for transmitting 4K signals.
Sharp by name and nature
With 4K UHD screen resolution, this Sharp 40 inch TV makes the most of its HDR compatibility. The resolution is four times greater than the more conventional 1080p Full HD TVs, and it's a difference you can see clearly. For the smoothest motion, Active Motion 400 processing reduces judder and improves detail during fast-moving sports and action movies.

Coming complete with two USB connections, the Sharp lets you plug in both recording and playback devices. The intuitive Media Player makes playing back photos, music and videos an easy and hassle-free process.
USB recording
This well-equipped 40” smart TV also comes with a PVR USB socket. PVR (Personal Video Recorder) means that you can hook up a USB recording device, such as hard drive or memory stick and record TV programmes using the EPG (Electronic Programme Guide). The system even lets you pause live TV; just as you can with premium subscription services.
