Has all the factory installed software on the computer and I am not aware of any such issues installing Windows 7. You could call Acer tech support to put your mind at ease by calling 0871 760 1000.

up to 3hrs battery life, like new with a few minor scratches, boxed and has no bluetooth.

I've looked at the minimum specs of Ghost Recon. This Laptop shouldn't have any trouble running the game.
