So whether you’re after larger storage capacities or faster data access speeds, you can mix and match between hard disk and solid state drive to better suit your needs. If you’re looking for space to house your files and applications, use a single 3.5-inch or two 2.5-inch hard disk drives. Alternatively, you can choose a combination of a 2.5-inch hard disk and solid state drive to speed up your operating system.
