With rich Layer 2 features such as LACP, advanced QoS, VLAN, ACL and multicast IGMP snooping, the GS1920-8HPv2 offers an intuitive web-based interface so that anyone who prefers standalone management can access them without having to learn complex CLI. Additionally, the GS1920-8HPv2 Switch is also part of the Zyxel One Network (ZON), which means that you can use the complimentary ZON Utility to easily perform repetitive operations during the deployment phases.

When you’re ready to join Zyxel's Nebula cloud management solution, simply register this GS1920-8HPv2 Switch via the Nebula Control Centre (NCC). The device will automatically join, provision and begin to give real-time information. The intuitive platform allows your switches to form a group that is controlled centrally, and gain access to diagnostics tools all under a single platform. The Nebula platform does not limit the number of switches that can be added, giving you an easy-to-use, scalable platform to access anytime, anywhere. What’s more, the mobile app allows you to register hundreds of devices quickly using the built-in QR code scanner, so you can monitor the real-time network status on NCC.

The Zyxel GS1920-8HPv2 switch is equipped with advanced management features to make the network stable and secure: loop protection that prevents network flooding, dual images to provide a backup FW if one crashes and storm control to ensure network efficiency, friendly on/off DoS with simple click to enable/disable instead of several setup pages, while SSL ensures the management frames are well encrypted when the device is accessed. The GS1920-8HPv2 switch provides network error prevention features and integrated network security for reduced risk and improved data streaming.

The default consumption mode allows delivery of only the actual power required by devices connected to the switch for better business ROI. The user-friendly Web GUI, in addition to the PoE consumption indicator located on the front panel, provide real-time power utilisation.
