Question from David: Asked on 01/01/2013 I am planning to travel with a sony laptop. Is the insurance for all countries in the world? If the laptop was to break in Australia for example will it be collected and fixed in Australia? I am likely to be spending a long time out of the U.K.

Please can you confirm if mechanical damage is covered or not? There is two conflicting answers on the page above!

Batteries and Ac adapter only have a 6 month warranty from the laptop purchase date. If the laptop is repair under warranty they will be it a quick wipe so it's not sent back full of finger prints.

This is collect and return. It is a physcial pack that is registered on Sony's website. Needs to be bought and registered before 12 months of purchase of the laptop not after.
