As this does not have HDMI then you are limited to using the VGA connection. You will only receive a visual display and no audio by this method although if you have a home cinema system then this won't prove to much of a problem.

I cannot tell you the exact resolution of this camera , all I can tell you is that it is a standard VGA camera . Battery life is approx 4 hours on this model.
