Easycom: We can only supply them as they come, all the software is pre-installed by the manufacturer, but it wouldnt affect the price by much anyway otherwise they wouldnt supply it. You should regard any pre-installed software as a freebie, other than the operating system which is a necessity.

Easycom: Both processors would be excellent for gaming, the biggest difference between them is the screen size.

Easycom: This machine just has the 15 pin VGA and S-Video outputs, no HDMI unfortunately.

Easycom: The HD 2600 is a bit quicker than the 8600M GT, it should play CoD4 with good enough frame rates.

Easycom: Either you can ask us to create a recovery disk for you at a cost. or, there will be capacity to recover programmes via a partition on the laptop or you will have the facilities to burn your own recovery disk

Easycom: No, it comes with 32 bit Vista because 64 bit hasnt gone mainstream yet.

4-Sep-2008 James: Please help. What's better. The Toshiba P200-1K9 or the Sony Vaio FW11E. The only difference I can see is that the Vaio has the HDMI output. Do I need this? Will I be able to download HD TV content in the next couple of years, or is this a gimmick?

Easycom: The toshiba has more processing power and a slightly bigger screen. However, the Vaio has a better graphics card as well as a better resolution. Essentially, the choice is based around gaming, if you want top gaming, and you've got the extra money, then the Vaio is the best. However, if you want to play games but it's not your primary concern then I would suggest the Toshiba.

Easycom: yes the laptop has 1 x HDMI output and was reviewed in June 2008 so only a couple of months old.

Easycom: Opion is divided over which is the better graphics card although both seem to only be able to play games like Crysis in a low res with any fluidity. I'd check the forums and go from there.

Easycom: the card is just a standard ATI Mobility Radeonâ„¢ HD 2600. The prices remain the same for as long as we can source the stock at that price. If we can get the laptops at a lower cost, the prices will reflect this and vice versa.
