Question from Paul: Asked on 09/08/2010 Hi,
Does the optical drive in this laptop have the ability to write to CD-R/RW and DVD-R/RW please? I know it's a blu-ray drive, does it only read Blu-ray or can it write to them as well?
In other words, what format of discs can the laptop write to and read from?
Thanks

Question from Toby: Asked on 03/08/2010 Does this laptop have a glossy screen, please?
Question from Mark: Asked on 11/07/2010 I have this very laptop. The touch pad is textured and it's perfect for gaming. Runs L4D 2 and 3, and AVP maxed out. Bad company 2 is set to high with AA at 1 because its running at 1920 x 1080 so don't really need high AA. Dirt 2 runs on a mixture of high/ultra high setting but it will struggle if maxed out. Drivers are a pain as you cannot download these /direct from ATI due to Sony tinkering with them to work fully with the Vaio's hardware. The 5850 overclocks nicely with ATI tool but beware, this thing chucks out heat like nobodies business and can give you severe discomfort on your left leg if used on your lap! best to buy a notebook cooler I think! I sore it 9/10.
Question from Robin: Asked on 08/07/2010 Hi, is the touch pad smooth or textured? Thanks!
