You need a USB docking station as there is no docking port on your laptop. So this is the correct product for you. USB docks can be found on the site.

No, docking stations don't include accessories. The difference between the two is laptop compatibility.

It has a dvi and vga output and will supopport any screen size that will connect to the port. The port doesn't support the graphics, its the laptop. If the graphics card in the laptop supports full res, then the screen, if capable of showing this, will have that resolution.
