The fully mercury-free light source has a life expectancy of 20,000 hours with performance of up to 3,000 ANSI lumens. This means that the manufacture and disposal of conventional mercury lamps is now a thing of the past for CASIO ’s new XJ-A135 projector.
The XJ-A135 has the new and innovative semiconductor light-source technology developed by CASIO which combines LEDs and laser light to create a completely new, mercury-free light source. The new generation of projectors with laser and LED-hybrid light sources has an illuminative performance of up to 3,000 ANSI lumens, creating brilliant, natural colours for impressive presentations – even in daylight.
This revolutionary light source has a 20,000-hour life expectancy, and can be switched on and off without any significant delays – full power is available after only eight seconds
With a power drain of less than 1 watt in standby mode, the XJ-A135 is fully compliant with the demands of the new EU directive 2 requiring reduced power demand for technical devices from the beginning of 2010
