You cant upgrade the graphics on a laptop unfortunately, as it's soldered onto the mainboard instead of having removable cards like a desktop PC. I would recommend a going for something with a GeForce 7600 or higher.

Yes, these laptops are similar but the Aspire 9423WSMi is an improvement in all areas - The CPU may look slower but it's a dual-core so it can do more at slower speeds - which gives better performance whilst saving battery power as less heat is generated.

It is a SATA interface and supports Dual Channel RAM, the CPU is not upgradable though.

Turbocache is taken from system memory and uses this as graphics memory therefore giving an increase in the overall memory capacity.
