Easycom: No, it wouldnt fit I'm afraid, you need older memory.

29-Mar-2008 Michael: Hello. I want to increase the RAM on my Aspire 1355XV. Would this memory be suitable or do I need a different memory? If I need something different what should I get? I currently have 256MB of DDR SDRAM and would like to increase this as much as possible. Thankyou.

Easycom: Your laptop takes DDR memory, not DDR2. We sell DDR memory in 256MB modules ( product code NMEM/256/DDR/2700 ). If your laptop has a spare slot for another 256mb module, then you should buy one of these and install it alongside your existing module.

Easycom: Yes, you would need two of these to upgrade to 2GB, this would replace the 2x512MB modules that it comes with.

Easycom: 2 Sperate 1GB rams should work fine.

12-May-2008 jayz27: ive got a acer aspire 5315 and the fsb is 533mhz but this memory is 667mhz does this matter also whats the difference between 5300 and 4300 im a bit confused with all the different memory upgrades cheers

Easycom: There is no problem with memory at a different speed to the FSB. The numbers correspond to the speed of the memory.
