Question from COR72Z: Asked on 15/10/2007 i like the look of this tv but i heard that some tvs dont like working with bluray/ps3. toshiba supports hd-dvd only so would this be as good with ps3 as a similar priced samsung or LG??? Also does blu ray look good on 1080i tvs in general?? thanks

Answer from Easycom: Answered on 22/10/2007
blu-ray looks the same as HD DVD, as for the Tosh and Blu-ray, the Blu-ray will display up to the maximum resolution of the TV. I would say it is more reliable than Samsung

Question from FecKeRD: Asked on 02/10/2007 Which of these is the better tv..Tosh/Philips 5522d/LG32LC56

Answer from Easycom: Answered on 04/10/2007
They're all about the same spec and they all have LG/Philips panels. It would probably come down to presonal choice and I prefer the Philips, Its also the latest one out

Question from Conway: Asked on 24/09/2007 How is Toshiba when hooked up to a XBOX360? Im considering a purchase but the 12ms response time is a bit off putting. Most TVs ive seen the standard is 8ms. How come this is so high?

Answer from Easycom: Answered on 26/09/2007
most tvs say 8ms but this is grey to grey, Tosh's is 12ms black to black which is the same

Question from gazzbeef: Asked on 29/07/2007 would u recomend the this tv for use with the ps3 and blue ray

Answer from Easycom: Answered on 07/08/2007
with Toshiba this is only a 1080i tv, so you wouldn't get the full benefit of Blu ray. If you're wanting a Toshiba TV you would be best going for the X series 37X3030db

Question from Phil: Asked on 25/06/2007 Will this TV support XBOX 360 NTSC format?

yes it will

Question from EF: Asked on 25/06/2007 I notice this TV is spec'd to 12ms response time. How much of a disadvantage is this compared to others @ 8ms? Also, will I notice a lot of difference between this 4000:1 contrast ratio and the Acer 3220's 1200:1?

Answer from Easycom: Answered on 27/06/2007
with reference to the response time, unless you are using your tv as a computer monitor, you wouldn't be able to tell. You would notice a difference in the contrast ratio. The Toshiba's black would be much darker than the Acer, and in general would be a much sharper picture

Question from pb: Asked on 25/05/2007 Can the TV swivel to the left and right on the stand and to what degree?

Answer from Easycom: Answered on 29/05/2007
sorry I do not have that information. I have checked on Toshibas website, & through the owners manual, and nothing is listed to give this information

This TV does support copy protection

Question from sc: Asked on 25/03/2007 With the Toshiba receiving a low rating, what are the biggest problems with the TV - are there particular pluses that would outweigh them depending on needs as another review I saw gave it 8/10.

Answer from Easycom: Answered on 26/03/2007
The specification is very high on this particular TV featuring an excellent contrast ratio, freeview, SRS Audio and Regza image processing technology. The current rating is based on it being a brand new product which has only been rated a few times. The more ratings it receives, the more accurate the average score will be.
