Question from markymark: Asked on 10/09/2009 Can I put my o2 sim out of my contract phone in this as I have free web bolt-on?

Answer from SteveK: Answered on 10/09/2009
I think you would have to contact O2, It may invalidate your warranty. They may be able to point you in the direction of a cable to connect your phone up to the computer. This then works like a modem. Saves you buying something you already have.

Question from martyn: Asked on 07/09/2009 will my o2dongle work on a friends pc?obviously works on my laptop but he wants to buy one but people tell us it wont work on the pc..... is this true??

Answer from David J: Answered on 10/09/2009
As long as the PC is windows based, there is no reason why a mobile broadband dongle shouldn't work
Answer from SteveK: Answered on 10/09/2009
All dongles work on most laptops, you will need a laptop with USB2. The only problem is the signal strength in some areas. You can contact O2 directly or via their web site to check the signal for the area in which the laptop will be mainly used.
