Built by professionals, for professionals

If you've read the specifications of the W700 and are looking for one of the most powerful notebooks on the market, you've probably already realised that this is the model for you.

Boasting the world's highest performing dual core processor in the form of the Core 2 Extreme QX9300 along with 4GB of RAM that can be upgraded to a massive 8GB, the W700 is not a notebook for the light user. This machine was built to be overclocked and tested to oblivion, which maybe impossible given the specs on this machine.

Designed for digital content creators and users, the mobile workstation's digitizer helps them easily configure an image, either mapping it to the entire screen or to an area defined by you and high performance users, especially digital photographers, will benefit from this models built-in color calibrator. The calibrator automatically adjusts the display's color in up to half the time of many external calibrators and with higher accuracy, resulting in the most accurate, true-to-life images in an integrated package. This is backed up by a NVIDIA Quadro FX 2700M graphics card with 512mb of dedicated memory.

And finally the incredible 17" screen has a resolution of 1920 x 1200 which, given that 1080P TVs only go upto 1920 x 1080, is proof that the notebook has finally caught up with the desktop.

Throw in the 64 Bit version of Vista Ultimate so the full 4GB of RAM is used and an XP Pro disc should you need to use the ever popular, older operating system and you've got a machine that works harder than you. No really it does!
