The devolo Home Control Motion Sensor gives you optimal protection in your own home. The wireless Motion Sensor can be positioned discreetly at any desired location of your home and keeps a watchful eye on the surroundings at angles up to 90 degrees.

The motion sensor records any movement in all interior areas and wirelessly reports it. As a part of your intelligent smart home system, you are reliably provided information about anything that happens in your home. You can also use the wireless Motion Sensor in a versatile way as an automatic light switch system so that the desired lighting is always there for you when you enter the home.

As with all other devolo Home Control components, the motion sensor works wirelessly via the devolo Home Control Central Unit. Any movement up to a distance of 10 m at a horizontal angle up to 90 degrees is caught by Home Control and transmitted to the Central Unit using the innovative Z-Wave® wireless technology. You are immediately notified of the detected movement via e-mail so that you always maintain a full overview, even when you are on the go, at work or on holiday. Additionally, the devolo Home Control Motion Sensor controls defined scenarios and rules.

One of the biggest advantages: The intelligent motion sensor distinguishes without fail between persons, animals and objects using adjustable sensitivity. This way, you know immediately whether someone is in your home or if it was just a door moving in a draft.

Intelligent motion sensor for day and night use

The devolo Home Control Motion Sensor is equipped with an infra-red sensor which monitors your home at night just as accurately as it does during the day. A continuous brightness measurement is used, as necessary, for your light controls. This way you have the ability to automatically switch on selected light fixtures when entering a dark room of the home.

As is the case with all devolo Home Control products, the Motion Sensor is also future-proof due to the standardised Z-Wave® wireless technology. Additional components can be integrated into the existing system at any time and combined in a versatile way with the existing components.

Unobtrusive design, intuitive operation

The Motion Sensor can be unobtrusively positioned in any location with its discreet, straightforward design. The installation takes place easily using adhesive foil, the motion sensor is intuitively configured using the free my devolo iOS and Android app or via web browser. This way you have complete access to the system at any time while on the go.
