Easycom: This model has two 160GB hard drives. If you would like to use the laptop in a car, I would suggest a 15.4 inch laptop or smaller, as 17 inch laptops and above require too much power to run from a standard 12v socket. If your truck has 24v instead of 12v you may be fine (no promises though). I recommend using a universal car adapter such as UCA0001A

19-May-2008 Glyn: What is the battery life on this laptop please and can the battery be upgraded in the future to a longer lasting one.

Easycom: We're not sure what the runtimes are for these ones, you can upgrade the battery in future, or use multiple batteries.

22-May-2008 Carl: It says that the laptop comes with a 90day trial of norton, is this pre installed or do you (laptops direct) install it. Basically if i were to get this laptop i were prefer it if norton never got anywhere near it, as it is a pain to 'fully' uninstall and requires altering the system registry file among other things. Is it therefore possible to get the laptop having never had norton installed on it. Kind Regards Carl

Easycom: We dont install it ourselves, it will either be pre loaded or just included on the software disc but not installed.
