No, I'd keep checking the windows site for updates on whats happening with the free windows 7 upgrade, there isn't a lot of info about at the moment and most of the manufacturers haven't given details of how they will roll out this scheme given that windows 7 isn't due out for few months.

Sorry the comment should say, there is a VGA out, not their is a hdmi out. This is the only output which may go into a TV if the TV has that port.

If the TV has a VGA or DVI input then you could, otherwise you'd want a laptop with either HDMI or S-Video outputs.

No it does have a HDMI out and the graphics card is fixed so you can't upgrade it unfortunately.
