Yes it can be connected to a television through either the VGA or S-Video outputs, however these will depend on the connections on the television, also the signal will not be high definition. The wireless connection runs at up to 54 Mbps which is fine for a broadband connection.

The Intel GMA 950 graphics card is suitable for web surfing, Office tasks and playing older 2D games. It does not however offer and real 3D quality gaming. If you want to play modern games you need to look for a laptop with either an ATI or Nvidia graphics card.
