5-May-2008 Kevin: Hi, I ordered an lcd tv before (from a different company) the picture was awful through a scart connection and av. If I plug my sky box in to this would the picture have any ghosting or distortion? Also could I use my PS2 (not yet made the jump to PS3) and have ghost/blur free gaming through the av input?

Easycom: The ideal setup for HD TVs with Sky TV is to use a HD Sky box with a HDMI connection. This TV will be fine with the PS2 over the standard AV input.

Easycom: The sound is good for a flat panel TV, great for everyday use. The problem is when you want to turn the volume up and require good bass for films and games etc - This is where all flat panel TVs suffer - so if this is your intentional use for this TV then you would be better buying a dedicated home cinema system. For watching normal TV, the integrated speakers are very good.

Easycom: It all depends what you ant to connect. As with all TVs, the only cable they come with is a power lead, so if you don't have a SCART cable you'll have to buy one. As for SKY, yes it will work with your SKY box, just connect it the way you did with your old TV

25-Aug-2008 Steven: I recently purchased the following TV, Teco 32 Inch HD Ready LCD TV - TA3296RV. On the product specification it states that this TV has teletext but when I press the text button it comes up on the screen "NO TEXT". I have spoken to both Direct TVs and TECO and am still no further forward. Can anyone help me with this?

Easycom: the text button is for analogue only. If you are watching digital TV you'll have to press the red button. This is standard on all TVs

Easycom: yes it will display 1080i, and will handle it quite well, but if you can push the boat out a bit, we have a Sharp full 1080p LC32X20E for 450 pounds. 150 dearer but worth every penny

Easycom: The teco does have a PC input connection so as long as the laptop has the corresponding connectivity (which nearly all recent models do.) then it should be fine.
