Easycom: The FZ31M is a newer release of the same model - There have been no hardware changes since the FZ21M. You'll have to ask Sony why.

21-Mar-2008 Tom: How good is the battery on the Sony Vaio FZ21M model. I know the spec suggests around 1.9 hours however past Vaio's tend to run considerably below what the spec states.

Easycom: It really depends what it's being used for. Things like heavy processing or running games will reduce the run time by a lot.

Easycom: It does have a blu-ray rewriter, but we're not sure on the battery life yet.

Easycom: This model has a widescreen display, unfortunately there isn't an equivalent within the Sony range.
