You can install things on this laptop by either attaching an external disk drive, or by saving the software to a USB memory stick and installing from there.

Good question, eventually I found the answer. It does have one integrated with the built in Camera, it also supports high quality input wia the sound card.

No its a netbook and they don't come with a dvd drive to keep weight, size and price down.
