Sanyo has used all of its expertise in creating a lightweight aluminum framed LCD monitor, which is protected by anti-reflective tempered glass. The display is certified to an IP66 standard and can operate in temperature conditions ranging from -20 to +40ºC, making it suitable for a host of external applications. The 42LM5WP offers numerous input and output terminals including component or RGBHV input and output via BNC terminals, composite video input and output with BNC, and RS-232 control port input and output. The 42LM5WP also offers computer input via D-Sub 15 RGB terminal, as well as DVI-D input with HDCP for high definition signals. There are also jacks for an external audio speaker system (RCA). The 42LM5WP has a tough anti-reflective tempered glass. This offers protection of the panel's surface in public display environments. The glass offers 1/10th of the reflection of a standard float glass and is approximately five times tougher, providing the display with a degree of vandal resistance.
