Question from JN: Asked on 02/12/2011 I know Samsung specs say the screen is glossy on this model, but my friend returned one which had a matte screen and the spec label on the box of that one stated 'Non-Glossy'.
Can you confirm whether the screen is gloss or matte.....it will say on the label on the box.

Not known a Samsung laptop aimed at the home user like this with Windows 7 Home Premium having a matt screen. Matt screens are found on the business / professional ranges that have Windows 7 Pro.
Samsung may be able to shed further light on the situation on 0845 726 7864. We ship this model direct from suppliers so haven't seen one.
HP Probooks with Windows 7 Pro and Toshiba Tecra laptops have matt screens also as a alternative.
