20-Aug-2007 Andy: Hi, I'm trying to decide between this laptop & the Acer Aspire 5920WSMi. I know this model has an inferior graphics card & no turbo cache but would you expect much of a difference between the 2 models with regards to playing the latest games? I like this model cos it's 1kg lighter but how fast is the ethernet, is it 10/1000 like the Acer? because I will be using a wi-fi connection quite a lot. Cheers!

Easycom: The two notebook are very different machines which are designed for differences uses. The Aspire is a desktop replacement while the Samsung is a portable notebook. If portability is important then the Samsung is the best choice as it offers significantly more battery life as while as being easier to carry.

Easycom: The graphics chips in these two models are the same - nVidia 8400M GS

Easycom: The Q70 is a 13.3 inch ultraportable laptop (very small) whilst the R700 is a 17 inch laptop aimed at being a desktop replacement or general home laptop. Smaller laptops generally cost more, specially when they have as much performance as this Q70.

14-Nov-2007 Alexie: I personally LOVED this laptop, it was originally planned to be my next Colleg laptop, which it handles perfectly with its vast memory and Vista, but it also has the capacity to play some extremely high spec games, i didn't expect it to come out with the amount of power it did, fantastic buy
