You would have to use the official panasonic adapters due to the software built into the tv only being compatible with this model.

any broadband speed. The only reason why any wireless dongle may not work efficiently, will be down to the location of your router, & any structural interference between them

How do you type when using the skype function? ie is a keyboard required or by the controller

the internet function is not the same as your broadband internet. Internet TV functions operate via a series of widgets that are built in to the TV. (this is the same with any brand of tv advertising internet connections). Skype will operate by using an additional web cam & headphones, as you would do with your PC.
