Question from tomski: Asked on 19/11/2008 would this laptop be good enough to play the newest games and most games soon to be released? and whats the difference between this model and the slightly larger screen model?

Answer from sajidH: Answered on 20/11/2008
It should play most of the new games. Its very strong laptop from MSI and features 2GH 64 X2 mobile technology. Screen size doesn’t make any difference. Its upto you how big screen do you like. The main differences between laptops are due to processor speed, memory and hard drive size and graphics card.

Question from Tomski: Asked on 19/11/2008 would this laptop be able to play call of duty 4 and spore? and also how does this laptop compare to the Sony VAIO AR61S Laptop ??

Answer from SteveF: Answered on 19/11/2008
yes it would play those games and the sony is more of a all round multimedia laptop whereas this is a gaming machine.

Question from Monty: Asked on 29/10/2008 Will world of warcraft work without lag if you have a medium connection?

Question from bubbles!: Asked on 10/10/2008 hi easy com,
i recently bought the larger screen version of this laptop (i can't seem to find it in the store now, but as the hardware in both is pretty much the same I thought i'd post here)... the laptop comes with vista preinstalled, but as vista is a complete resource hog i'm finding that my xp pc with half the specs seems to run games better. is it possible to install windows xp? i seem to remember once trying to replace xp with 98 and it wouldnt let me downgrade to an earlier operating system, will i have this trouble now and will the pc be fully compatible with xp. apart from the extra security most features in vista just annoy me.
sorry about the long post, thanks in advance for you're reply
regards

Answer from SteveF: Answered on 13/10/2008
depends whether you can get the drivers for XP for this machine. I'd give MSI a call and see if they can supply them. If they can, you should be able to do the downgrade.

Question from Wariscoming: Asked on 18/08/2008 There is a new game coming out called Warhammer online. I was wondering if this laptop will be powerful enough to run it smoothly?

Answer from Easycom: Answered on 18/08/2008
Although it is a gaming machine because of the graphics card the GX610 will struggle to play the latest games at the highest spec but it will play Warhammer online to a good standard.

Question from Ryder: Asked on 19/07/2008 Is this laptop good for anything other than gaming (e.g. internet browsing, microsoft office etc.)?

Answer from Easycom: Answered on 21/07/2008
Yes, anything that's good for gaming should be good at almost anything else, as gaming is one of the most intensive things for the computer hardware.
