The cost of the recovery disk is postage plus handling charge and are available outside of warranty period. The recovery system on the hard drive would be automatically replaced by any Lenovo authorized repair center while in for repair regardless of the warranty situation.

The laptop comes with a recovery partition that can be used to restore the laptop. The OEM license key is attached to the underside of the laptop.
