Easycom: this doesn't have a composite connection. best thing to do is to get a scart adapter to convert from YRW to SCART

16-Jul-2007 bimmac: Hi I bought this TV a few months back and the only issue Ive found so far is when you are watching normal TV for a while, BBC1 ITV etc, the TV becomes unresponsive to the remote, you have to switch the TV off and back on again for the remote to function again. Only happens on the TV settings, HDMI, Scart, HD, VGA are all ok. Any reason for this?

16-Jul-2007 Dave: Any Xbox users should be careful here then. The TV has 2 scarts, so if you connect, say your SKY and DVD to them, you cannot play the Xbox without unplugging one of the scarts. Yes it does have HDMI sockets, but my SKY, DVD or Xbox don't.

8-Sep-2007 LostC!tY: I have this TV and one thing I have noticed is a blurring behind fast moving dark objects( shadows in cMcrae DiRT etc ). The blur is exclusively red, regardless of the color of the object. This happens through HDMI and VGA on both an X1950XT and a 6800GT and an X360 via VGA. Is this a manufacturing flaw or something else? ps. Changing gamma settings for the red channel in display properties on both the TV an the PC seems to have no effect.

Easycom: these weren't designed with gaming in mind so is just a design flaw and not a fault

Easycom: you will get motion blur with all LCd TVs. the only thing that will reduce this is to have a set that is displaying high definition images, i.e. Sky HD or Virgin HD. anything else will blur on fast mjoving images

Easycom: when it refers to noise it means picture noise and not sound. It is a method of reducing picture interference. its a bit like fine tuning an image

Easycom: The toshiba has a better contrast ratio which will give a better colour definition than the Hannspree however other specifications are similar.

Easycom: You wont need any cables other the ones you already use as these do not offer HD pictures. You me be best with a Component cable for you Wii, however if you replace to HD DVD then you will need HD cables etc.

13-Dec-2007 dot: Hello, Can you please tell me if this TV will be installed for me or do I have to do it myself. I am a OAP and dont have much knowledge about installing and tuning in this kind of item. Also, I see that some people have had problems with this item. Can I be assured that if I buy it, it will be trouble-free as I have had enough problems with my present tv that cost me £500 and needed two costly repairs soon after 12 month warranty ran out.

Easycom: Unfortunately it doesn't include installation. The set is pretty easy to set up, however if you are really worried about this why not look for a television with freeview as these set up automatically.

17-Dec-2007 Tets: Got my XV32 yesterday pluged my old xbox via the scart and when I turn the xbox on nothing happens. I'm going to get a xbox360 this weekend will I have the same problem ? Do I have to change any of the settings on the tv or is it the xbox thats at fault ?

Easycom: Is there a problem with the lead? Have you tried both scart sockets. Have you tried any other equipment using aScart connection. If you are having trouble with other devices I would recommend contacting our customer services.
