Also Hp indicate it weighs 2kg whereas your specs say it is 3.5 Kg which is more accurate?

Sorry for the confusion. This laptop comes with an LED screen and I can confirm that it weighs 2KG.

It has a 6 cell batery according to HP's site but doesn't stipulate battery life.

I would say you would get about 4 hrs battery life based on the spec and the battery. Sorry I can't be of more assistance.
